Respironics Universal Inline Pressure Valve is a spring-loaded valve that reduces risk of oxygen/water backflow from the patient circuit into CPAP machines that are not in use.

Respironics Universal Inline Pressure Valve is attached between the machine and the standard CPAP tubing. The valve may be used alongside universal inline bacterial viral CPAP filters. The valve is not able to prevent water backflow from integrated humidifiers or humidifiers using short hose couplers.
